TITLE: Research Associate
LOCATION: 2599 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27106
DUTIES: Leading and producing data analysis, synthesis, and collection for a large research project. Develop and maintain an index that measures aspects of eudaimonia across countries. Evaluates the index to determine how different countries display eudaimonia. Completes and leads research and survey design; improves the current research, if needed. Analyzes data sets and statistics. Researches different components (i.e., cultural, social, political, and economic) that encourage or discourage eudaimonia. Publishes original research furthering the Eudaimonia Institute’s mission. Prepares and presents research at scholarly and/or professional conferences. Evaluate the index to determine how different countries display Eudaimonia when it intersects with economics and related fields.
TRAVEL: Occasional travel to conferences.
REQUIREMENTS: (1) PhD in Economics, Agricultural and Applied Economics, or related degree; OR (2) Masters in Economics, Agricultural and Applied Economics, or related degree plus 3 years of relevant research experience. Foreign equivalents accepted.
SALARY RANGE: $85,680 per year
HOURS: 8:30 am to 5 pm, Mon. – Fri. (Salaried position)
