The Eudaimonia Institute (EI) at Wake Forest University is currently accepting applications for research associates and a Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate Professor position.
Summary-The Research Associate produces original empirical research into the nature and assessment of eudaimonia, Aristotle’s word for well-being or flourishing. Contributes to the overall research agenda of the Eudaimonia Institute and shows a particular interest in developing the Eudaimonia Index. This index will measure well-being from a comprehensive and interdisciplinary perspective, with the goal of comparing the progress toward and achievement of eudaimonia across communities, cultures, and societies over time. This work will push the frontiers of methodological research to explore the underlying cultural, social, political, and economic institutions that encourage or discourage eudaimonia.
