Apply for a Grant

The Eudaimonia Institute at Wake Forest University invites applications for support of research on projects related to the Institute’s mission.

The Institute recognizes two categories of grant requests: more than $10,000 and $10,000 or less. Requests for the former, larger grants will be reviewed twice annually, in July and again in January; requests for the latter, smaller grants will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Process of Application

  1. Review the Eudaimonia Purpose and Mission.
  2. Click here to start an email to the Executive Director with your application materials. The email and attached materials should include the following:
    • A cover letter;
    • An updated curriculum vitae;
    • A description (no more than five pages) of the proposed research project;
    • A tentative schedule of progress; and
    • The intended publication outlet(s).
  3. Indicate level of funding required/requested, and a tentative budget (if applicable).
  4. Send the completed email application from your email client.

Process of Review

  1. The Institute’s Faculty Advisory Board will review submitted applications.
  2. The Board will make a recommendation to the Executive Director.
  3. Upon mutual agreement, an invitation will be offered to approved candidates.
